Janet: Hi guys, thank you for coming. I need to tell management the colours of the new car we are announcing next week, and I only have one day left to confirm. Now, Peter, which colours do we already have in our range?
Peter: Yes, first, we have red, blue, green, white and black already. However we can have a few new colours for people to choose from.
Linda: Yellow and pink for example may be colours that customers will not want.
Janet: Good. I agree, I think pink is bad. I would not like to drive a car that was pink. The fact is that yellow and gold together are the eighth most popular colours of car in the world this year.
Linda: Interesting. So, we have the following colours to choose from: silver, grey, brown and green, yellow and pink.
Peter: Green might be good for people in spring and who like the environment. I think that grey and silver are the same.
Janet: The new car is big. With a large car, a darker colour is better, like brown.
Linda: Our company doesn’t use darker colours, there is no way that management would like that.
Peter: Yes, the thing is, we need to stay with the brand image.
Janet: OK, so no dark colours. Grey and brown are out.
Linda: I think yellow is a good colour to use, if it is popular in the world. Also silver is very popular too – and it is pleasing to the eye.
Janet: Thank you very much with your help, I think now I have more information to help me choose!
