Quick facts!

  • Genre: Circus
  • Style: Contempory
  • Summary: The new show from the Circus of Horrors promises even more acrobatics, more theatre and more comedy, but this time with an insane asylum environment.
  • Dates: from 5th October 2012 to 14th October 2012
  • Theatre: Carpa del Circo de los Horrores (Junto al Hipercor)
  • Where? Granada / Granada

The Circus of Horrors is exactly what the name suggests, a circus complete with costumes, music and horror stories which create a terrifying atmosphere. Vampires, demons, zombies and other imaginary horror figures are featured throughout the shows.

It was created by Suso Silva, who put the circus together with the idea of presenting a new type of show that the public were looking for.  In the past, they have recreated an old, gothic cemetery scene with gargoyles, tombstones, fog and all of the creatures mentioned before.

The Asylum of Horrors is a new show which will show us a dangerous environment where all kinds of mentally ill patients live. It is located in a hospital where the doctors and nurses do not keep watch on the inmates but continue to destroy their minds under terrible delusions.

It is the perfect event for Halloween!

Tip of the Week | Consejo para esta semana

The best way to speak better English is to travel to an English-speaking country, of course! Don’t stay on a resort where there will be many foreigners, instead stay in trendy areas where the locals hang out. You have many choices for your break– USA, England, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are just a few options for the traveller seeking an English-speaking experience.

Phrase of the Week – Frase de la Semana

To travel light: to bring very few things with you when you go on a trip

“Baggage fees are extortionate! Make sure to travel light if you are flying with a budget airline.”

Amazing fact of the Week | Curiosidades

¿Morbo o curiosidad historica?

Tourists have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to take a Titanic memorial cruise this year, on the 100th anniversary of its sinking. Two memorial cruises will sail in April, one from New York and one from Southampton, England (which is already sold out). They will circle the spot where the ship went down.
